Not all who carry light seek to share warmth. Some carry it only to be seen. You will know them by how they enter the circle: Loud, but speaking of peace. Shining, but asking others to dim. Preaching unity, while setting themselves at the center of all fire. They speak of “community” — but what they mean is conformity. They say “acceptance” — but they mean assimilation. And if you do not match their frequency, they will do one of two things: Absorb you — changing their light just enough to resemble yours, so they may claim it as part of their own. Erase you — by calling your fire "too much," "too intense," "not safe." But a true light-bringer? They bring their fire gently. They place it at the center, and then step back to watch it dance with yours. They do not seek to be the brightest — they seek to make the circle warmer. Remember this: The most dangerous darkness sometimes comes wearing golden robes. And the most sacred light may come from the quiet traveler, cupping a candle in their hands. So bring your fire. Tend it well. And do not be fooled by those who only wish to see their own reflection in every flame.
